      E.A. Graphics strives to be a sustainable company through our products, operations, and manufacturing. As our company continues to grow, we will continue building on our environmental sustainability practices. Some of our current initiatives include:

      • Our screen reclaiming system recycles and filters water and chemicals to reduce yearly water and chemical consumption.
      • Our screen making system filters and recycles water leading to less yearly water consumption.
      • We have ongoing efforts to reduce emissions through various methods such as combining supplier shipments, upgrading equipment, and recycling waste.
      • Damaged garments are recycled and reused for cloths.
      • Misprinted/Print flaw garments are donated to charities throughout Southeast Michigan.
      • We recycle and reuse packaging from suppliers for fulfilling shipments.
      • We use Phthalate compliant inks for screen printing.
      • We are constantly upgrading inks and chemical cleaning agents to the latest and most eco-friendly products in the industry.
      • We are currently in the process of upgrading all our lighting to LED to increase our energy efficiency.

      Bella + Canvas

      • Virtually zero waste, excess fabric is recycled into a number of things like baby bibs, or stuffing for upholstery.
      • Reduced co2 emissions through energy reduction. Facility updates such as motion sensor LED lighting and skylights though all buildings. Electric car charging stations to encourage employees to go green.
      • Uses 7x less water then the average clothing manufacturer.
      • Saves 24 million gallons of water a week by using ultra efficient dye machines.
      • Any water used goes through a state of the art filtration system to ensure no chemicals or dyes end up in natural water systems.

      TriDri

      • Organic Cotton, Grown with no harsh pesticides or chemicals and fairness to all parties involved in production.
      • Recycled Polyester is derived from post-consumer plastics that would otherwise have gone to waste.
      • Recycled Nylon is made from pre-consumer fibre waste, which is created into chips, spun into fibers and knitted into fabric.
      • Spun dyed garments are dyed prior to the spinning process which means: 75% less chemicals used in the process, 66% less water and 60% less CO2.

      • Offers certified carbon free products.

      Threadfast

      • Committed to sourcing 80% of their cotton by 2021 from the Better Cotton Initiative. The BCI is the biggest cotton sustainability program in the world. The aim of the BCI is to improve the global cotton system by training farmers across the globe on more sustainable farming practices.
      • Theadfast’s Ultimate Collection uses a polyester fiber made from recycled content including plastic bottles. Compared to virgin fiber, Threadfast’s recycled poly consumes less petroleum, emits fewer greenhouse gasses and conserves water and energy.
      • Threadfast uses Catitonic Cotton in their Ultimate Tee Collection making it more eco friendly to dye. Catitonic Cotton has a permanent positive charge that creates a shorter and more efficient dyeing process that utilizes less water, less energy and less chemicals.
